Our candlelight ceremonies offer quiet, contemplative spaces for people carrying grief of all kinds. Through meditation, grounding, breath, reflection, silence, and candle lighting, participants are invited to honor a person, relationship, community, identity, dream, or other meaningful loss, with no expectation to speak or share.
We strive to create welcoming, intersectional spaces that honor how grief can be shaped by race, culture, disability, gender, sexuality, and other lived experiences. Some ceremonies are open to all, while others are affinity spaces intentionally held for members of the communities they center. We invite participants to choose the gathering or gatherings that reflect their own identities and lived experiences.
